Community, employment and day services are designed for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities who receive assistance from the DC Department of Disability Services (DDS). Services are provided in the home or community
Companion, Day Habilitation & Individual Day Supports
Assistance with socialization and skill development. Staff encourage independence and healthy relationships by navigating the community and engaging in recreational, educational and social events.
Employment Readiness
Assistance with job readiness skills including resume writing and interviewing. Staff boost confidence and skill to identify and secure a rewarding job.
Supportive Employment
On-the-job coaching and support to promote job security and independence. Staff foster success in the workplace by teaching skills and modeling healthy behaviors interacting with co-workers, customers and supervisors.
